The Center works with state agencies and other groups to improve public access to aerial photos. Michigan State University researchers at BSRSI (Basic Science and Remote Sensing Initiative) worked with the Michigan DNR to develop a custom ArcIMS interactive map interface for viewing aerial photographs in the the DNR collections. A server-side MrSID viewer allows users to pan and zoom through the imagery up to full resolution. Air photos can also be found by legal description using a tool developed by CRS (Center for Remote Sensing) at MSU.
