Access
Gaining access to satellite imagery can be a tedious process. Landsat.org was created at Michigan State University for the purpose of simplified data discovery. Using a search engine called "Access7," up-to-date browse products can be viewed for any where in the world through a simple map interface.
Data Co-op
Furthermore Enhanced Thematic Mapper (ETM+) data from Landsat 7 and recently collected TM from Landsat 5 can be freely shared by users free of licensing restrictions. Landsat.org supports data sharing through its "hosting" program and makes archived "co-op" imagery available to the public at dramatically reduced rates.
Visit Landsat.org and click on the "About" link to learn more about data hosting.
