The Center is supporting agencies and users within each state, and also in a coordinated fashion across the states. Much of our research has an interdisciplinary flavor, allowing us to share data and techniques across subject boundaries and perform integrative assessments across multiple application areas and economic sectors. We continue to invite new end-users of geospatial environmental information, and encourage participation from a diverse array of stakeholders. If there are ways in which we can help your organization, or if you would like more information, please contact us at resac@gis.umn.edu. The list below includes the current participants in Center efforts, and users of the Environmental Information Services we offer. Close cooperation between the Center and its stakeholders helps make the overall endeavor better. The participants bring considerable knowledge and experience to the projects we undertake. This bi-lateral partnering is ultimately what makes the work of the Center relevant and effective. Thus, it is our desire to see continued growth in the number of diversity of participants, with the view that their contributions help us as much as our information services help them. |

| Of course, the impacts of our activities extend beyond individual agencies, companies, and universities. The Upper Midwest Regional Earth Science Applications Center acts as an Environmental Information Service for the region, directly supporting the needs of particular stakeholders by developing specific projects tailored user needs. |
